Eating between meals

What's the knitting equivalent of eating between meals? Well, it's knitting something completely different than your main project. In other words, you are knitting a blanket when you should be knitting more socks.

Here's the culprit.

Väipalat pitää mielen virkeänä! Mä yritin just keskittyä vain yhteen (tai no kahteen) työhön, eikä sitä tullut mitään. Pieni välipalatyö saa vauhtia siihen varsinaiseenkin hommaan, joten se kyllä kannattaa :).

Frank Stella! This blanket and that very important green angle reminds me of that painter's work:

I always think I want to copy your stripe patterns. Then I figure you've probably invented them as you go, and maybe I should copy that technique and just start and invent some as I go. Then I look at your blanket again and I want to just copy it because it's so great.

Another beautiful blanket!
