Blanket number 105

Do you have a thing for symmetry and mitred squares? If so, this blanket is just for you. As you can see, I'm suffering a severe case of mitred square mania. I'm knitting one mitred square after another, and I seem to be unable to stop.

Peitto nro 105 021

The most important question is this. Which one is better? Blanket number 100 or this? What do you think?

Your blankets are amazing! How do you come up with all of the variations? Do you just start knitting and see what happens, or do you go by a pattern? I can't pick which one I like the best, because I love them both!

I like this one too, but blanket # 100 seems to me like the ultimate. The design is just so... intricate and creative. I still think you should write a book. It would definitely sell here in the USA. People here are gobbling up knitting books like crazy.

This one is amazing! But I also love the ones that surprise us. The sock yarn one might be my favourite of the recent ones.

Musta tämä on hienompi! Molemmat toki ihan mahtavan upeita. Tällaisen peiton haluaisin tehdä, jos joskus teen :)

Each one is fabulous, and each one a different but wonderful optical experience. How do you plan these?? Each one is a favorite.

Aivan ihana peitto! Mä tykkään just tuollaisista säntillisen symmetrisistä jutuista.
Kaikkea hyvää sulle muutenkin!

there is no "better than another" blanket in your collection. it really depends on one's individual taste, I guess. In my case, #105 did make me gasp with delight.

You're entire collection is a major contribution to the world of artful knitting! You have so much to be proud of - and, as knitters, we have much gratitude for your contribution.

Your blankets - and you yourself - are amazing! What a journey you've been on. Have you thought about writing a book about the 100 (plus) blankets? I bet it would inspire a lot of people, and not just knitters.

If I had to choose, then 105. But 100 is also so beautiful.

Hi all!

Thanks for all your comments.
Lisa: Sometimes I go by a pattern and sometimes I just go with the flow. :D
Dood: I got the mitred quare pattern from www.masondixonknitting.com :)

This is not the first time someone has suggested that I should write a book about my 100+ plankets. It's very flattering, of course, but it would take too much time from knitting. :D
